The Stadthof has 9 simple yet recently renovated rooms with 16 beds. The rooms have cold and hot water. Toilet and bathroom are on the same floor. You will sleep northern style, that's very comfortable. All rooms have panel floor for hygienic reasons. We have single, double and triple rooms. Two rooms have matrimonial beds and can be used as single or double.

We don't serve breakfast, but there are three coffee shops in the neighbourhood open from 6am.

At the Stadthof Hotel we have the legendary Brötli-Bar (famous open sandwiches since 1906), a fine dining restaurant and a pizzeria. Our menu is written in four languages: German, English, Italian and Spanish. Our kitchen is a role model for food safety. We are glad to show you around. See for yourself, where you eat! For hygienic and operational reasons this tours are available outside the main meal times.

Our hotel is in the heart of the city, next to the Barfüsserplatz. Around the hotel you will find several pedestrian zones for shopping and entertainment. The access to public transport is perfect. The tram stop Barfüsserplatz is only 20 meters from our house. In a few minutes you can reach the central railroad station (tram 1 and 8), in 15 minutes the Basel fair (tram 6 and 14) and the German station "Badischer Bahnhof" (tram 6). Several museums and theatres are very close to our hotel.

Three car parks (Stadttheater, Elisabethen, Steinen) are within easy walking distance as well. Though there is no parking available right next to the hotel, you can drive here to load and unload at all times. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us.
